Recognizing the housing quality and adequacy is a Social Determinants of Health, Equal Housing Initiative and its partners place a strong emphasis on providing comprehensive mental health supports to the individuals they serve.

On-Site Access to Professionals

Many of Equal Housing Initiative’s supportive housing developments feature on-site access to mental health professionals and social workers. This allows residents to easily access the mental health services they need, without the added burden of transportation or scheduling challenges.

Integrated Care Approach

Equal Housing Initiative takes an integrated approach to mental health support, ensuring that residents’ housing, and social needs are addressed in a coordinated manner. The organization works closely with local healthcare providers and community partners to develop personalized care plans and facilitate seamless access to a range of mental health resources.
