RecoverBridge on Pacific

Supportive housing is a core focus of Equal Housing Initiative’s work, as the organization believes that access to stable, affordable housing combined with comprehensive support services is crucial for addressing homelessness and housing insecurity.

The project involves the construction of an 84-unit new housing building, with the first two floors allocated for commercial spaces and areas designated for supportive services. The residential floorplate has 6 units, either bachelor or one-bedroom.

The building will be net-zero energy ready (NZER) and will have at least 30% of affordable units.

In terms of operations, the residential segment will have a mixed-use approach to guarantee a seamless continuum of care and accommodation for the residents. The units will be adaptable to serve as transitional, supportive, or permanent housing based on individual needs.

This seamless continuum is facilitated by the implementation -in full of partially- of EHI’s RecoverBridge, a replicable model originally developed during a neighboring housing project and perfectly suited for application in the current project.
